Sway Support
Sway support
How do I start using Sway?
After installation, refresh webpages that were already open. The sensory ball then hangs from the top-right corner on normal webpages. Select the toolbar icon to turn it off or move it to the left corner.
How do I move the ball?
Grab the ball with a mouse, trackpad or touch. Pull it in any direction and release it to swing. You can also throw it towards an edge to make it bounce.
Can I use a keyboard?
Yes. Tab to focus the sensory ball, then use the arrow keys to push it. Hold Shift for a stronger push. Press Space or Home to reset it.
Why is there no sound?
Sway is silent by default so it can remain unobtrusive during reading, revision and desk work.
Why does it not appear on some pages?
Chrome blocks extensions on protected surfaces such as chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store and some built-in viewers.
Is Sway a medical or therapeutic product?
No. Sway is an everyday sensory tool, not a medical device, treatment or replacement for professional support. Stop using it if it feels distracting or uncomfortable.
Something is not working
Check that Chrome is version 102 or later, refresh Sway from chrome://extensions, then reload the webpage. If the issue continues, contact Fidgeting Fingers with your Chrome version and a short description of what happened.
Return to Sway or read the privacy promise.
